My landlord recently hired Clint to have a look at the exhaust fan in my apartment. Clint arrived, checked the fan, then came out and started angrily accusing my partner of fiddling with it (even though we're both physically too short to reach it & don't own a ladder). He then kept telling me I had to pay, and that we had done something, and refused to listen to us explaining that it is actually impossible for us to reach the area he says we had.
I get the feeling he'll be fine if he's not buddies with your landlord - however, it's clear that the two of the where friendly; Clint went so far as to let my Landlord know what clothing I had hanging up inside.
