Cobb & Co Removals

I booked a removal service though this company and believe that I have been scammed. Despite being advised that the quote would include removal of a bed head, mattress, bedding and some electrical equipment, the invoice did not document the bedding and other items, which I have never seen again. The bed and mattress arrived, however, half my belongings arrived weeks after removal and had been unpackaged with pieces missing, whilst the rest I have never seen again. I was advised by the removalists that it was 'accidentally taken to wrong address'. I have emails to prove that the quote was for bedding also, but given that the company have not included these items on the invoice, I've basically been advised that I don't have any rights. Do not deal with this company no matter what. Make promises they cannot deliver, blatantly lie about pick up dates and times, cause utmost stress without a care in the world. Totally uncontactable out of hours and I mean 12.00pm on a Saturday when you were promised pick up. Gear eventually gets picked up by an absolute nuffy and as we were out of the house after they turned up four days after proposed pick up date he picked up wrong items and left important items behind. He had a list of gear that I had paid for to be picked up and when I questioned this goose he said he can't read. I had to help him unload the gear at its final destination and I also had to lug all the gear in to a garage for pick up!! This is not what I paid for. No response at all from this useless company. STAY AWAY!!!

Worst customer service ever!



Not only did they 'forget' the pickup but the company was uncontactable out of hours and, when I did manage to speak to the staff, they were incredibly rude. This company has non-existent customer service. We had a shipment arriving from interstate. We called to ask when it would arrive as we were heading out of town for a night. They gave us wrong information and the shipment arrived while we were away. We called to find out what had happend and the staff was angry and rude.Just don't risk an encounter with them.

Oh My Gosh! We booked through the online service, pre paid our move and then on the morning we were scheduled to be picked up, the company cancelled without any warning. They tried to say that they refused our pick up because of the broker that set up the move. What a joke. I got irate treatment from them like I was setting them up. They just dumped us with no recovery. DO NOT EVEN TRY THEM! HORRIBLE and we reported them to the ACCC.
