Trust me. Its the best South indian restaurant i have come across so far.Ask for chef specials if available. Its yummy and relatively cheap. You ll love it.

Previously my experience with Indian restaurant Food has been, yummy yummy but afterwards the tummy tummy feels like it's about to explode. So, a bit like getting drunk, you try to avoid it. Seven of us went to the newly opened Coconut Lagoon Restaurant the other night and to my surprise it was yummy yummy yummy, WITHOUT the tummy tummy protest. The secret being the menu is from Southern India and NOT the traditional run of the mill Northern Indian cuisines that abound.
So yes a bit like drinking without getting drunk or making a big dent in your wallet.
The most expensive main course dishes were $15.95 (cheaper than a family sized pizza) but cheap prices in this case doesn't mean cheap quality and small serves, far from it! the food was exquisite and the variety rivals a chinese yum cha. Generally wine isn't a good accompaniment with any rich and spicy food, but if you must, bring a few cold beers instead.
