Coffee Barn & Gelateria Moonta
The Coffee Barn Gelataria is set on 30 acres of historical mining country and makes authentic Italian artisan gelato. We offer 16 flavours that change daily. Our gelato is gluten free and the sorbet is non dairy. We have an extensive sweet and savoury pancake menu all made fresh to order. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with friendly service and other wonderful products such as Italian espresso, thick Italian hot chocolate or perhaps a creamy cappuccino or try one of our handmade truffles. We have plenty of parking on the premises big enough to park your caravan, boats etc. The barn has a wonderful al fresco area as well as plenty of seating inside.
We also have a self contained four-star bed and breakfast available on the property.

At $5.50 for 2 scoops this is about on par with what I'd expect, but the flavour was even better than I expected - and apparently the flavours even change regularly.
This is out of the way so you'd have to go looking for it, and it's not open all the time so check before you go but if you do then take along an empty tummy so you can try lots of different flavours!
