This is really not my favourite place to grab a cup of tea, particularly since it is pretty pricey (though Hudson's has recently jacked their prices up as well, so it isn't the most expensive place to get a large cup of tea). Mind you, since it is located in the middle of Flinders Street Railway station, it is pretty centrally located, particularly for those who happen to be in transit between a couple of trains. However, while I have grabbed a cup of tea from here a number of times, I have always been a little annoyed about how they make it. I guess it is more to do with there being a lack of seating to sit down and enjoy my tea, though I usually end up taking it over to Fed Square, or go back down onto the platform to catch another train out. Sometimes, though, I wish there was a Starbucks here instead because they're cheaper.

Im not a big fan of writing negative reviews, believe in giving businesses a chance to get it right, at times could simply be the person serving having a bad day like we all do occasionally, or simply a human error. On this occasion though, I have to be completely honest and say it was probably one of the worse coffee I have ever had. I was rushing to get the train home, but just needed a coffee so bad as havent had one all day and wanted to grab one on the run before the train arrived. Look, at the end of the day what can we really expect from a train station caf??? I couldnt even drink it, the taste was really off, not even warm enough, in fact I threw it out after only a few sips. I was already down at the train waiting; otherwise I wouldve mention something to them while there. Oh well, I guess Im not in a hurry to return on this occasion.
