Coffeelicious

I'm indigenous Australian. I walked in, I was looked up and down by whom I presume was the owner (mature age woman) and the young male barister. I was clearly made to feel as though I wasn't welcome there. So much for it being 2015 (an alleged more enlightened time).

Great coffee, lovely food and friendly staff.

A special function bought me to this cafe, recently renamed Coffelicious. Quite ironic but I will explain soon enough.

Our meals had already been ordered so there was barely a wait. For our $39.00 we had shared plates of deliciously succulent prawns that I must say were the most divine food of the night. Unlike the calamari, which had been crumbed unsuccessfully, as the coating had fallen off in to the salad below forming a haze of brown bread crumbs and greens. My main of 7 scallops on an Asian inspired salad of cucumber, mint, and what seemed like an everlasting amount of dressing was a bit sweet for my desire in a main, yet my companions who inhaled their chicken said heaven had been reached.
