I bought a car from Coffey Ford a year ago. I've had nothing but trouble from the first three months of having the car. First my wipers stopped working, took it back to have them fixed, cost me $80 to have the car recalibrated. After they fixed them my high beam headlights stopped working, three weeks of no high beam headlights, was booked in to have it looked at again. All of a sudden my high beams start working and my wiper stops again!!!!
Six months later my car starts leaking water.
I get informed by a mechanic that it was temporarily fixed with stop leak. This temporary solution held out until just after my 15,000 k's warranty ran out. I feel ripped off and now I will lose thousands of dollars either fixing it myself with someone else or trying to sell it. Either way I'm very angry.
Very unsatisfying experience Coffey Ford buying a used car which still leaves me sick in the stomach. Bought my car one month ago. Husband and I weren’t even offered a chair to sit on during initial negotiations even though all the salespeople were sitting. Had to ask to see the car I had came to see. Very poor trade in price for my car. I told them what my trade In car was selling for around the place but they showed me another website with a photo of a similar car with a lesser price. I was able to get $1500 more for my trade in which they acted as if they were doing me a huge favour. Sucked in. That was after we said we were heading elsewhere to look at another car. That car is now selling for $6500 more dollars elsewhere, what I told them the car was worth in the first place. Some markup don’t you think. Even one week old new tyres on my trade in didn’t even sweeten the deal. They weren’t even interested in looking at my trade in. Aggressive marketing for ...read more
