I went to the Col Nayler barber shop in Chermside on the 11th. of February, 2019. My Barber, Hamo, broke every protocol a barber should observe. I understood from the onset that this was going to be a hair cut and no pleasentries where available. This didn't bother me, I thought, no problem, I just need a haircut. Then Hamo stood in the one place and spun my chair around, spinning me around the shop. Totally humiliating. Col Nayler you need to train your staff in client interaction.
This is a 5 star rating Barber shop ..All Authentic barbers... No gimmicks no hard sales just genuine people wanting to give the best service and excellent cuts .... Charged me $30 to do a 1-2 fade on the sides, spent 10 min in the chair was definitely no worth the time or money!! The idiot while doing the fade cut with the clippers the length of the top of my hair which i asked him to leave (trying to grow it out). Now to the awful fade when i went home to shower and clean all the hair he left on my neck and head and on further examination i had hairs in the middle of the fade that i had to then cut to fix the awful job he did. Will never go back there again and never recommend these barber. And then to top it all off the barbers and barber shop reeked of cigarettes. Appalled at the service!!!
Needed a haircut on a busy Saturday morning. Despite having 5 hair dressers staffed, it still took 30 minutes to get in the chair - I guess having an appointment may have been easier?
Unfortunately, I had a poor experience - what a disaster! I didn't think it was that hard to do a simple trim: shorten sides, back and top - but it obviously was. Result was a messy, uneven and unprofessional hair cut.
Mileage will certainly vary. Although this was my first visit to Col Nayler Chermside, it will also be my last.
