Coleambally Golf

My wife and I dropped by Coleambally after seeing this true local post and viewing The golf club website. Coly as the locals like to call it was surprising. We spent 3 days there. Played some golf, took in some sites, visited some local towns. We camped near the footy field for free. We are Grey Nomads and we found that the locals were very friendly and always said g'day. The golf course is very well kept for a country course and is very challenging. No bunkers but plenty of trees. It's a 72 par and worthy of the rating. We've decided to join the club, at $100/year it's very good value and we get a golf link card that carries our handicap to any affiliated club in Australia. We'll visit Coly a couple of times a year. We had fun in 'Coly'.
