Coles Electrical Service

We have recently completed # 4 of a #8 house project that my company is constructing. We utilized Coles Electrical for the electrical fit out of house # 2,3,4. for house # 1 we used another subcontractor but were force to source an electrician that would deliver what they quoted!!!!

I'd had Coles Electrical details passed onto me earlier from a acquaintance and looked them up to see if they could rectify the stuff up of house #1. and quote/ complete the further project.

To sum up the work to date by Coles: FIRST RATE!

They have delivered to date, on time and to spec. I could not recommend them any higher.

That is not the end, when asked from their boss, he was defending his tradies /apprentices and did not even offer to come and have a look at the mess that they have done. At the end it was all our fault, and blamed us that we planted the mess. When we called in several other electricians ( just to get some advice what to do after their messy job) we were told the Coles Electrical have done a very poor job and now to change it again, spending close to another $1000. Also spent around $500 to repaint the ceiling. We asked for a refund,manager/owner was very unprofessional over the phone. Didnt go to Consumer Affairs/Fair Trading because it was such a stress and headache dealing with the very unprofessional manager, it was not worth it. We let it go thinking, we leant a good lesson. Never to call them again and never to let our friends and family use them again and word of mouth is more effective than a court battle.

They did not want to listen to us, was in a rush to finish the job and get to their other jobs, installed down lights where ever they felt like, drill holes everywhere and did not patch anything , because that was not their responsibility. House was in total mess when we arrived from work, did not clean up after the job. Did a horrible horrible job. Worst trades people we have ever dealt with. Had to go through so much stress after their job.
