I definitely would like to revise my earlier review with this insurance group. A real pity that their level of customer service is appalling once you’ve become a customer. I had contacted them regarding a single issue on 5 different occasion as I was promised that someone will contact me within a certain time, on each time I had reached out they managed to track the person I spoke to down and I got was ongoing apologies however no resolution in terms of looking at rectifying the issue at hand. There is no issue that their call center is been handled off shore in South Africa, however from a customer perspective it would be appreciated that they got their system correct from a data entry and meeting the standard level of customer service. Huge embarrassment referring so many people and the outcome if like this!
For some years now my contents insurance has been through Coles Insurance, I've looked around each time the renewal comes and continue to be happy with their price. Coverage is generous and I like the flybuys points that have come with it over time.
They don't spam me with emails or mail I don't want and I trust them - pretty much that's what is important when it comes to insurance for me.
I have now insured a number of vehicles with them in the last year or so and have had friends and family members do the same. In shopping around I have found them to be quite competitive, in a few instances their premium wasn’t as competitive however when I contacted them directly on the phone after obtaining a quote online, I have found that they have always been able to beat any prices that has been quoted. They are backed up by one of the largest insurance company holding which is self-assurance in taking out any insurance with this group. The customer service over the phone has been great, it was only on one occasion in which they spelt my name incorrectly and it involved several phone calls simply just to get a data entry correctly updated, overall great service offering.
