Coles Supermarkets

Forget what the other 2 bad reviews are saying from 6 and 8 years ago. The refurbished Coles is much better. The layout (like all the newer stores) is fresh and bright. It's easy to get around the store and the staff always seem helpful whenever I've had a query.

The only thing I would like to improve is the range of products that don't contain soy in the gluten free/health foods section. I find that other Coles stores have a better selection and that Beenleigh seems to cut it down. Not everyone in Beenleigh eats pies and chips Coles!! The demographic is changing and those of us who are health conscious and have allergies need more options from the supermarket.

Have lived in this area for 15 years and always shopped at Coles but after todays experience i will not be spending my time or money there. Wednesday 2nd November around 9 am. Quick trip to Coles with my daughter in law,running late to drop grandchildren off at school. Daughter in law purchased what she needed for children for school, paid and left store. I was waiting at a different check out counter. She has 3 children with her, 7, 4 and 18 months, youngest ran back in store, she went in to get him, he had dirtied his nappy and took it off, she picked it up and took him out of store as the other two had disappeared and had to look for them. She walked out at the checkout i was waiting in line at. The little one was carrying on because he wanted to go back into the store ,Ok i agree that the nappy was smelly but at least she picked it up and took it with her. As far as Coles stores go, this one leaves a little to be desired I believe. The deli in particular has a reputation for being called the 'smelly deli' and I would be reluctant to buy cold meat there. The store's very long in the tooth, and is in desperate need of a revamp, not just a shelf shift.
