Coles Supermarkets

Located at a local shopping centre with relatively few shops yet plenty of parking spaces, Coles Hillsdale is one of the easiest Coles in the area to go to. It occupies a relatively large shop area, although the design is still old school and doesn't seem to have received the much needed upgrade that most Coles shops have recently undergone.

As a result, the atmosphere was quite tired and there were even a slightly dimmed area at the left front corner. It certainly does not feel nice. To top it off, there were also no self serve checkouts available, and coming in on a Saturday before 5pm, there was only 1 open checkout out of 12 available which is surprisingly enough to serve the lack of visitors to this shop. I think they should really call the head office and ask for a store upgrade or else this would soon become a catch 22, if it has not already started.
