Coles Supermarkets

Cannot complain too much about merchandise as there is nothing out of the ordinary good or bad, which rates as good in my books.

What had me done with them is the way the staff handled a simple case. They have this thing where if you buy over 30 dollars of merchandise they give you a very small bag with a coin sized paper box inside so kids can pretend they are shopkeepers. I bought worth of 45 dollars, I have 2 kids, got a single bag. Fair enough. I could give the bag to only one of them, so the other felt bad and started crying. The staff saw, but when I went back and said , considering that I bought already worth of 45 dollars, can I buy of 15 dollars more and get one more bag? The answer was a clear no. I shop here often, but I have to say as you walk past the fridge with meat there's always a strange smell.
No idea what it is, but it is consistently there.
There's a steep hill with car park behind, it can be difficult to navigate and you must watch for pedestrians.
Otherwise, go late at night and park
On the road.
Good staff.

Not the biggest fan of this Coles, the layout is confusing and it ends up taking me twice as long to find anything, even compared to different Coles around.

Great Coles with lots of fresh vegetables and meat. There is a good deli section and they have great tasting BBQ chicken which makes dinner easy. The parking lot is a little tricky to navigate but there are lots of spots.

A large Coles with what you would expect. There are plenty of checkouts and the staff are friendly, some even offering to look 'out the back' if you can't find what you are looking for.

The car park is a disaster though. Lots of slopes, tight and narrow ramps... Compared the other store's parking next door, this place is crying out for a renovation.
