Coles

Rang to see if they had stock on certain items during this crazy time. Went to store, told they hadn't had what I needed in stock for over 2 days. Waste of time.

This Coles has everything. The fresh produce could be of a alrighty higher standard. Confectionary selection here is huge, I feel like the aisle never ends!

Since they have done this coles up it has everything! All grocery needs, deli, ready to eat food, sushi area, pizza area, it is huge.

I spend around $120 a week in groceries and I smoke, that's around another $140 a week. Now I think most of the staff are awesome and quite friendly. The cigarette counter is another thing though. It's bad enough that there is only one cash register in the whole place that I can go to to buy my cigarettes and that people also use that counter to return products while there is usually a queue of people waiting to be served but for some reason the attitude of the staff at that counter is by far less accomodating than that of other staff. They hold on to your cigarettes as if you are a shoplifter and a couple in particular take a judgmental attitude to the costomers and it seems that a lot of the time they just don't listen to what you are saying. Sometimes they make mistakes and instead of apologising act like its the fault of the consumer. I bought some hot cross bun type rolls with icing and the packaging wasn't overly suitable, a plastic box that kept popping open and ended up that whilst they were baked that day they tasted somewhat stale. The bakery had made loads of dough baked animals which is cute to show the kids.
