Coles

It's a really nice Coles and great to wander through, but it doesn't have quite the range of Woolies yet

I've been in this Coles quite a few times when I'm at Macquarie Centre.

Great layout and they always have plenty stock available.

Friendly service.

However, it can get quite busy during the lunch rush.

I'm not sure if it's just how it's laid out, but this Coles feels larger than West Ryde and Chatswood. I like the big, wide aisles, but it does get crazy in here at the best of times (it is Macquarie Centre, after all). I managed to find a fairly peaceful timeslot tonight at around 5pm on a Friday night, when most people have something more interesting to do than to grocery shop.

The deli / butcher section is huge, and you can even get a good quality cut of dry aged beef.

I am so excited to see Coles finally opened at the newly renovated Macquarie Park. What used to be Woolworths only turf is now a battleground for these two retail giants (until, of course, if other supermarkets come into play!)

Located at the new precinct, Coles Macquarie Park sports a more spacious area, although the setup is pretty much similar to the ones you often see in other suburbs.
