Doing a little Christmas shopping and dropped in to have a look and get some ideas for a friend.
Firstly was not greeted by the two girls chatting, or acknowledged at all.
I accident nudged some necklaces hanging causing them to fall, I quickly screwed my face in embarrassment and apologised.
One of the women noticed came over which was surprising since she looked so deep in conversation, but as I'm putting everything back into place I get stormed at by her with a awful snotty tone "it's fine" with absolutely no eye contact.
I don't get offended, or embarrassed or feel unwelcome easily, but after trying to look around at more things, I had turned around and leave.
Basic people skills not only help a business, but probably in life too.
It doesn't hurt to break a smile or pretend that it's not the end of the world that you have to work.
