Hi all I went with my girlfriend Annelies once and was lucky enough to have Amanda cut my Hair. She is a wonderful person and has real passion and knowledge for this industry. Amanda got the best out of my hair and gave me great tips on a level I could understand. I highly recommend her :) She is my new hair dresser now:) Cheers Richard
I went to this hairdresser and my mum was supposed to pay $98 when she was booking her appointment and when we got there the staff that served us charged her nearly $200 so my mum didn't take it. That same time i was about to get my hair done and the same staff did mine i was supposed to get layers and when we started my hair they were pulling on it so hard i was almost crying and im 13 years old but in the end they hadn't even layered my hair they cut heaps off but there were no layers! I told my mum and my mum said we were NEVER going EVER AGAIN!!!
I just had the most horrendous foils done at other salon in the same centre and had to get them fixed up, so I went to Colorbar as they say they are colour experts. Well I wasn't disappointed! Amanda fixed up the shoddy job, and even though I had to pay for the fix-up it has turned out much better than I imagined. And I must say that although Amanda did a unreal job on my foils, the haircut she did was phenomenal! My goodness she can cut! I am over the moon now. I highly recommend this salon, and ask for Amanda if she can squeeze you in - she is incredible! The best on the coast by far!
I clearly explained the colour that I wanted and showed a number of pictures etc and I ended up with a colour not even close to what I had asked for. Not only this but the service wasn't great and overall it was massively over priced. This was not my first time at colorbar but unfortunately both visits have been very disappointing.
