Colourado Hair Gold

recently I took my 14 year old daughter for a trim and semi-permanent hair colour as a treat. In front of the store was a sign saying that this service would cost $89, more for long hair so I was expecting to pay around $100. I booked in pointing out the sign and my daughters age and went to shop while she had her hair done. Her hair look ok on my return, not fabulous but not bad. I went to the counter to pay and was charged $289!! The excuse given...she had a senior stylist? I feel completely ripped off and will never go there again. The semi faded down quickly and had to be redone and I certainly didnt expect to pay $200 more for medium length hair. My advise if you are thinking of going to this salon, go to Stefan in the robina town centre they are fantastic

Being a very busy Mum of two Babies I was very much looking forward to pampering myself with new summery Highlights. My expectations were very high considering the price of $150 for half a head of foils. I took in photos of the colour I wanted, which was really really Blonde Golden Highlights. When my hair was blow dried to my horror my hair was a worse than I could have possible imagined, cheap looking white Ash streaks, which made me look like I had gone grey, and with one white streak like Lily from the Munsters! Amazingly I made the big decision to go and get my hair done (as I am a working mother I dont often get the chance to look after myself). I switched to Colourado as a few of the mothers at my daughters school rave about them so I thought I would give them a go as I have never been totally happy with other salons.

Wow was I not disappointed, it was the best experience I have ever had in a salon. My master stylist (Kristy) was a supreme professional and she delivered exactly what I wanted and was so friendly, nice and approachable. She even adjusted my fringe for me after she had finished so I wouldnt have to come back within 4 weeks. At the checkout I couldnt believe it was only $75, I rebooked and my next appointment cant come quick enough.

Regretfully the worst mistake going to get my hair cut here. I was told the stylist that cut my hair was the most experienced and a master stylist...... well master of major crooked and dodgy hair cut in my opinion. My hair was so crooked, their was 6cm difference from the left to right side of the hairstyle! Seriously we are not talking mm here but cm. It looked so stupid. They cut into the hair on the ends that gave my hair this fuzzy look on the ends that looked like a million split ends! Special deal offered on their poster - was $75 for cut and blow dry. I was charged $125 including $5 extra for the shampoo and $15 extra for a fringe trim... PS - I don't even have a fringe! When I went back to speak to a senior staff member they were rude and bluntly said there is nothing they can do for me. Even after I showed them how bad the hair cut was.
