COMET AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE CENTRE

I have called on a Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and again today (Monday) to get a quote for a standard log book service. Each time I get told it's with the service supervisor and they will chase it up and get back to me - each time- nothing, no return call. Today I was put on hold while the person at the end of the phone went to "chase it up". When they returned, I told them how I had just been listening to a recording about how much customers mean to Comet. I was told she would have to "chase it up" and proceeded to ask for my phone number - the one I'd given three times before - What a joke! if it takes 4 days to get someone to tell you how much a stock standard quote costs, then they can shove their service. I hate how some businesses treat the customers time as less important than their own. We are the reason you exist!!!

I took my wife’s Saab to Comet given reviews I had read.
It was for a general service a report and pricing on other works and to program a new key.
I was told we could pick it up the same day.
They had the car for 5 days and didn’t give too much feedback when the car would be ready.
Said the rattling noise was a faulty alternator.

Thank you for giving me back the enjoyment of my alfa spider. the roof goes down and the windows go up. You were able to sort things that have been faulty from almost new and were too gard for the dealers in Toowoomba. I am very grateful.

Let them fitted a turbo charger for my LR4 a genuine part I bought from UK. They charged me $2000 on the labour and gaskets. After 3 months, found oil leaking from turbo area dripping to the ground when park overnight. took the car back to Comet , their assessment was" failure in the turbo and oil leaking into intake pipe, nothing to do with their fitting'' . (just because i supplied the part , so they tried to push every problem to the part fauty). But the car does not have any symptoms of a bad turbo! powerful, smooth, no warning light on dashboard. let an another garage to have a look at it, the guy said definitely, the oil leaking from the turbo draning pipe gasket area not the turbo inside. you should took the car to Comet and let them fix it for you. We took pictures as evidence before I go. Alright! another time to Comet.
