I called the clinic to ask how I go about getting the whooping cough vaccination, the receptionist said that they do it and booked me an appointment. After close to an hour waiting past my appointment time the doctor saw me, only to tell me I was meant to bring my own vaccination with me so he could jab me with it. If that is the case why would the receptionist not tell me that?? I have never heard of this before and it sounds pretty unusual to me, I have no idea how you even go about buying a vaccination outside of a doctors clinic. After a while of me sitting there looking stupidly at the doctor as I try to understand what he wants me to do, he goes and gets the vaccine from their storage, jabs me with it then hands me a script to buy another and asks me to bring it back to them. Why can’t they just charge the one they gave me to me? Why do I have to be the one to get new stock in for them?
