Bad Bad, Bad. Purchased a property through Julie Standen of Compton Green. She was rude and unproffessional. Received emails from her negating to address my wife, not advising us of exisiting tenant notice to vacate etc. Upon final inspection of our property, the property was extremly dirty inside and out. Serious bird foul down the outside of the property. Compton Green were managing agents at the time. Save yourself the stress and heartache. Avoid like the plague!

I had come across a lot of their agents in the past when I was in the market looking for a property a number of years backed. Were now back in the market and have come across a particular property of interest. The details listed on the site didnt provide enough information, so I called up the agent directly to enquire. The response, communication and tone was quite undermining. She reminded me on 3 occasions during the conversation if I was aware of the property price???? Whether I was certain I was enquiring about the correct property, it appeared in the way she spoke that people generally dont pick up the phone to enquire for property with a certain $$$$ figure allocated next to it. Cold and unapproachable. If you have a choice between renting through Compton and Green, Williamstown, or renting through somebody else, go with somebody else. When I approached the estate agent as a tenant on an issue the staff said to go talk to my lawyer. But, a simple phone call to the landlord by the staff would have resolved the matter. In fact, I called the landlord directly and everything was sorted. With that in mind, even as a landlord you should consider going through somebody else, because what\'s the point of paying all those fees to Compton and green if the tenant just has to call you directly anyhow? Phone calls never returned, emails ignored, and a bad attitude when I finally got hold of them. I will never deal with Compton and green again.
