Beware.
I purchased a used 4WD vehicle from Concord Car Sales, paid for it $19,500 (top dollar, Redbook valuation is only $12,990), because the dealer ASSURED me that he used to be a mechanic, that he cheeked the car and that the car HAS NO ISSUES.
On my first trip out of the city I got stuck (but naively I said to myself, it is only a one off, the dealer said the car is fine, right?).
After I got stuck with it again on my second trip, I took it to Diesel Systems specialists (Cornell Diesel Systems) who got recommended to me by my ...read more
On January 3rd, 2018 we went to Car City to find a car we could upgrade to. At this dealership we had a look at a car that we liked, Matt chatted with us and was not in the least bit pushy, nor did he mind when we said we would look at other dealerships too before making a decision. Terrible experience
After putting down a deposit on a car within 3 days our bank denied our loan so we enquired about getting our deposit back
Finally after 3 weeks we get a cheque in the mail of $380 instead of the 500 we put down
Supposedly they got approval for our finance with a somewhat higher interest rate so we don't get the full amount back even though we were within the 3 day cooling off period and also promised by the dealer we would receive The full amount
when I rang up to ask why I got an I don't care attitude with a we are legally within our lawful rites
So because in the fine print we did not state we were pursuing a loan through anz we lose our rite to choose our own lender
Highly recommend going elsewhere
