Please , please do not trust this dry cleaner with your wedding dress or any special garment. We took the wedding dress to be cleaned and they promised that they would take extra special care , they said that if they thought the lace would even be slightly changed they wouldn't continue. They said they were specialist wedding dress cleaners.... what a joke!! They charged $260.00 to ruin the dress. The lace which was an ivory colour is now white and they shrunk the lace so that now the lace sits about 8cm above the underskirt. We asked what could be done , the owner said he would try to fix or replace the dress..... when we returned he said he couldnt do anything, even laghed at us & said not his problem .They are new owners so I think the good reviews we read were for the original owners who had been there for many years They are not members of the Dry Cleaning Association. Go somewhere else.
I wouldn't recommend this dry cleaner as the service is unreliable and unprofessional. Having to research The Dry Cleaning Institute of Australia as well as my rights as as a consumer on Fair Trading is not a great start.
I put my wedding dress in for dry cleaning (along with the dress bag it came in). When I came to collect it, the gentleman explained that though the dress was at Concord, the bag was left behind at their other location.
