Due to a change in personal and business circumstances - Connect multi media advised that they no longer do residential (only commercial) and are unable to provide us with after sales/support service for the media room, and 3 other tv and dvd sets ups that they installed in our home in 2013. Hence, our review that we provided earlier is no longer valid as we are no longer able to obtain their services. All the best to all.
Initially contacted Connect Multimedia to quote for home automation and cinema room for our new home. Arranged a meeting and spent an hour going through our requirements, they seemed very knowledgable and engaged, they said they would do up a quote. I heard nothing for over a week and then when I contacted them they said they couldn't do the work after all. Would not recommend
Like most small businesses, our workload can vary dramatically from month to month. It is very rare for CMM to turn away work, but sometimes we have to do so to maintain the quality of service to our current customers. I remember we were extremely appologetic to Owain and we referred him on to two other companies to do the work for him.

We built a new house 2013 and installed a media room, and three other tv and dvd set ups in family room and two bedrooms. I don't understand any of the technology and nearly rip my hair out when something fails to work. Glen and the guys always are able to help and although I must admit it is a bit frustrating at times that they are so busy (i.e. on other jobs, away etc) and can't come out for a while, they can at least be contacted (unlike foxtel) and an interim resolution can usually be worked out and an intelligent and helpful conversation can be held. Our system isn't perfect, as you would expect, and unfortunately we are having issues with HDMI 1 at present but are trying to resolve and have changed the Foxtel boxes over four times also. have just had Glen from Connect Multimedia Install my new Home Thearter Package into my brand new media room. The professionalism expericance and quallity of workmanship was outstanding, Hence being an electrician for the past 10 yrs i h...ave an eye for bad and good workmanship. I had my whole home theater package supplied and installed including pre programmed universal remote and ipod dock for a cheaper price from CMM then quoted from Harvey Norman and i would of still had to install the gear myself and that did not include Universal remote, ipod dock or expensive Hd Leads . In the end it turned out that the multimedia gear that Connect Multimedia supplied was far more advanced and better quallity then i was orginally quoted for. I would highly recomend CMM again to all of my freinds and clients for all of there Multimedia needs. Thomas Morgan
