Conservation Hut Cafe
If you are visiting Wentworth Falls or even a local that wants to appreciate their area, you simply must dine at The Conservation Hut. Located within the beautiful Blue Mountains National Park, this café and restaurant boasts stunning bush views. Opened in 1963, it was originally used by conservationists until it became a café in 1993.
On a cold day, why not dine indoors beside the roaring log fire? You can feel the warmth and homeliness. Meanwhile, the menu offers Modern Australian cuisine; the pan-seared ocean trout with garden salad on the side is a dinner favourite. It is worth noting that dinner is only served during summer months. Friendly and efficient staff.

We bought drinks and sandwiches prior and after going for a walk to the Empress Falls. Great location for the café. The staff at the café were a little slow. It took us 20 minutes to get a simple sandwich and they weren't very busy. I have a feeling they forgot about them as we got them soon after we reminded them but there were mistakes with both of the orders.
