Coogee Diggers

Great place, the bunker is a cool bar, the events are fun. Beer is cheap, food is mostly good.

The dining room and outdoor area renovation is lovely. Fairly basic food but reasonably priced, as are the drinks. Not the sort of place you'd go for a hot date, but it's fine for a cheap meal with the family. Certainly beats cooking! We did have an issue with one of our meals one night and got some serious attitude from the staff, which didn't go down well with us. So, we haven't been back! Shame really because up until then they'd been lovely. Too many other cafes and restaurants in Coogee to eat where you can probably get better value. Shame because we like to support our local clubs.

really nice steak, creamy mushroom sauce and the best mash! steamed veggies are so tasty. moderate to small portions but still filling. Staff are willing to help and are happy and friendly. Although the place needs a renovation and can be filled of the elderly.. its still a nice place to have a meal.

Reminds me of Big Brother. They pushed it too far, couldn't find the brake, and everyone forgot the place long before they turned the lights off!
