I had the pleasure recently of being taken to lunch at this hotel by my daughter the day after Mother's Day. We had counter lunches on the high stools near the open air windows. I chose a steak sandwich with chips (which were to die for) and my daughter had a beef burger with chips. The meal was excellent quality and my steak was perfectly cooked. The meals were $9.90 each and worth every cent. The Restaurant which we had a clear view of from where we sat, looked so inviting and well appointed. This Hotel has obviously been refurbished and is fabulous. There is a huge salt water fishtank set into a wall with wonderful coral and salt water fish and a great play/activity room for the kids. If you are travelling through the Sunshine Coast Hinterland for any reason, stop by this Hotel that serves the best pub food I have tasted for a long time at a great price and great service.
