Coppertop Cakes

I have been there once and I can tell you . 1 the shop was suppose to open at 10.00 but didn't till nearly 11.00 no sorry , they opened the door and walked straight in left me standing there. 2. When I couldn't find some thing and asked them, they were very rude as if it was an effort for them.

I have been here several times and each time the service has been terrible!!! Both staff members are very rude. Yes they have knowledge and their products are usually good but the customer service is that bad I will now stop coming here! The only reason I did continue to come back was because I didn't know of any other place that had home made fondant.....well now I'm just going to make my own.

I went there on a Friday morning, there was about 4-5 people waiting for the shop to open (it opens at 10:00). One of the staff came and opened up about 10:10 (fair enough everyone is late every now and then). As soon as you walk into Coppertop you are welcomed with the most delicious smell of cakes and chocolate. Everything looks picture perfect like it could be in a magazine and it tastes even better. Everything is delicious and ladies are just lovely to deal with. Today I bought 2 slices of sponge for only $4.80 and OMG it was a taste sensation. The icing was perfect, the sponge light and fluffy, just the right amount of jam and the vanilla in the cream - it melt in your mouth. There Chocolate sponge is also a true winner and oh I could go on for hours. Wish I knew about this place when I got married. 10/10!!!
