I had a bad experience with this removalist. They happily took my booking even though I confirmed with them that it was a public holiday. When I phoned to confirm the booking the week before my move, they advised me that they had arranged for another local removalist to do the job at the same price they had quoted. Although the other removalist did a good job, they had not only underestimated the number of hours it would take (so it cost more) but also argued that they charge more than I had been quoted by the first removalist. They also charged me for depot to depot, when the first removalist clearly states on their website that the price is door-to-door. This added another $50- onto an already higher than quoted price. I phoned the first removalist to complain and they said they would refund the $50- as goodwill however that never happened. My advice ***Get a fixed price quote***
