Corner and Bench

Great cafe if ever in the city for a morning breakfast. Corner and Bench located in the the heart of Meloburne CBD serves a great menu. I ordered the smashed avocado with poached eggs on toast, and could do with another half a serving but of course couldnt order a nother dish as i wouldnt finish it. It was yummy and felt somewhat healthier. Very busy in the morning, a lot of people actually enjoying their breakfast in a cafe on a Saturday. Service is average in terms of how quick the dishes come out but the staff are really nice. I will defnitely be back to enjoy something else on their menu.

Trying something new, I had this place on my to-do and I'm glad I gave it a go. This cafe has all levels of cool which sees people lining up and out the door to grab a salad or wrap to go at lunch - and yes, they are amazing.

Lucky enough to to get a huge share table we all ordered a range of salads, curries and burgers which were as good as they looked.

As a first world problem, I felt like my salad had too much chicken (a first) so I was digging around for green bits and my juice had too much ginger (I ordered their homemade ones) however the cool takeaway glass bottle it comes with is a nice way to minimise plastic use and recycle.

Enjoyed, would be back.

The cafe recent changed its name to "Corner and Bench" - entirely appropriate. Situated on the corner of Bourke Street and Hardware Lane, it's ideally located for work-time quick lunch or business catch ups.

Great little cafe located in the hubb of Melbourne's CBD. Service is usually quick however we've been caught out once getting back to work on time. The gluten free bread is actually tasty, great coffee and fresh juices....yummmm! Oh and the staff are super friendly and helpful.
