Had my first visit to the club recently. All staff members were friendly and helpful. Great snookers area (plus it's free), cheapest drinks in Sydney, good quality food, clean and friendly environment. Happy I've now become a member. Will share with my friends too.
Good to see small clubs like these out there making it in a large industry.
I have to say I was appalled by the attitude of the staff here. I and about 20 others attended a meeting and was not allowed to sign in as a Temporary member. We were then refused drink service and told we were not welcome in the club. There was no water supplied in the meeting room. Needless to say we will NEVER be using a function room there again.
I've had a day at the Coronation Club. Everyone that worked there was very friendly and helpful. The club is great and I can't wait to go back, even for a social gathering.
I had a great experience recently at the Club and loved it. The party of 30 people I was with also gave praise. I think you're too uptight and might have exaggerated your story.
I became a member the same day of our function and can't wait to visit the club socially. Great to see these smaller clubs still going.

My comment was purely factual. The comment made by the staff member was "You are not welcome here". My comment was posted over a year ago so one would hope the improvement you have seen is because they listened to the many complaints about the service that night.
