Corte is an old converted court-house and has indoor and outdoor dining in a shady courtyard perfect for dog-lovers (although dogs are not permitted on the decking). You need to order at the bar/cash register and pay if sitting outside. The lunch menu is small. Service was good and the wine list is impressive. As it's tapas, servings are also on the small side.
Corte in Port Melbourne is a cozy wine tapas bar / restaurant on the very busy Bay Street in Port Melbourne. They are set inside a converted church so has beautiful high ceilings. They do rustic Spanish / latin styled dishes and the scallop ceviche and queso fundido (hot melted brie with rustic bread) were my favourites. The chorizo meatballs were also very tasty. This is a nice date location as it is near the beach. The service was ok and but the waiter was a bit impatient with us. We still had a good time and the wine list is impressive.
