This system only requires one operator and one spotter, unlike the conventional system which requires a team of people needing to be employed. This alone reduces the safety factor, as less people on the ground, means less potential safety problems that could occur.

The Excavator and Harvesting Head System also directly controls where the tree will be placed on the ground. This controlled measure means the tree can be grabbed, cut and placed anywhere with little damage to the surrounding environment, wildlife and their habitats.
