Sorry to see the other bad reviews. Can only comment on the satay sticks which were divine, and I want more. HOWEVER, even though I bought two, I was only able to enjoy one of them, as the area has been overrun by crafty Ibis who have learned to be bold enough to swoop in together very suddenly and take something off your table. Because of this, I would warn people away from ever eating out here. I gave it the stars for the yummy satay stick, but took the other stars off because you can't really enjoy your food there with Ibis swooping you and taking it away.
Bought a Scoopon deal for a huge fisherman's basket ans was excited about going. However, it turned out to be a terrible deal - the basket was in fact a small paper plate on which some soggy fish calamari and inedible nuggets with a handful of greasy chips. How disappointing! Will not go back there again, EVER! Not a good deal and disgusting food.
Very disappointed. Cafe has a certain word association and this one was definitely not a cafe. Takeaway maybe. We bought a coupon deal and got 4x Fishermans basket. The advertised saving price was for every item in a single format, not the whole deal if you bought it from them anyway. The food was fast food takeaway style and as such very unsatisfactory. The fish was mushy, the fish sticks were cardboardy, the fish bites, calamari and chips were edible. The speed of service was at least good. But for the price and food quality I would rather go to my local fish and chips for better and cheaper food than this place. Never going back again.
