Similar to the other negative review. Wanted to shop local. Wife's watch had stopped, some water had got in. Replaced battery and what else was done I don't know but he'd had it a couple of weeks and charged $80. Stopped again a few months later so I took it back. Lady very defensive, he had a quick look and verdict was it needed a new quartz movement and it would cost $140
Went to another watchmaker. Old school watchmaker / jeweller. Fixed it for free and said if it stops again would put a new quartz movement in for $55. Also regulated my automatic Seiko for free. My wife will definitely be going to buy some jewellery at this store. Isn't that what it's all about. Great customer experience, making you want to come back and support a business.

Foolishly I went ahead with the quote.
After 7 days I had heard nothing so called up and was told "oh he might do some quotes today". Two days later I received a call and was told the cost ...read more
