Does your child or young person suffer from anxiety, depression, lack of motivation sleep issues or other difficulties at home or school.

These problems can cause a great deal of pain, sadness, and frustration for a child and his or her family. Some children are faced with the great challenge of adjusting to a major change in their lives, such as a death in the family, a medical illness, or a divorce. Others have a learning disability or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) which can impact their self-esteem and functioning at school and at home. Some children have difficulty in social situations and are teased in school or wish they could make friends.
Fortunately, therapy can help alleviate the suffering of your child/teen, provide support to your family, and facilitate growth and development. My aim in working with children, teenagers, young people and their families is to help them to identify their strengths, to cope with weaknesses, and to ultimately meet their goals. I customize treatment to meet the unique needs and personality of each individual I treat. I strive to help your child feel happier, more confident and better able to cope with difficulties at home and or at school. I chat with parents regularly over the phone to discuss their concerns or just to check in.
