Counting House

Very comfortable and enjoyable venue. Very pleasant staff and excellent wine list. The entrees were excellent - the detail or each component and the amount of preparation warranted their price. The main courses, although very good, were not quite to the standard and expectations that the outstanding first course set but were nevertheless very good. The deserts also not quite up to the standard of the entree. Definitely will return but we felt it was a little bit on the expensive side, but there again, you have to pay for a complete dining experience and the venue itself is worth paying a bit extra for.

Arriving for lunch with children, we were very happy with our experience at the Counting House. We will be going again SOON.

Venue appealing, service friendly and efficient, food very good and the prices for the lunch menu were good (included is a wine/beverage).

LOVELY AMBIANCE. ATTENTION TO DETAIL. REALLY GOOD FOOD! AND WE ENJOYED IT. ORDERED A NICE BOTTLE OF SHIRAZ (AFTER OUR COMPLIMENTARY GLASS) AND GOOD VALUE TOO.
