Cousin Jacks Pasty Co

The aromas wafting from this place in Bondi Junction mall drew me here. They sell a variety of pasties as well as hot and cold beverages.

Service was lovely as a couple of them saw me straining to look at the varieties on offer and gave me the menu. I went with Cheese, Bacon & Potato Pastie. It had a crunchy pastry and the filling was nice and creamy.

I really enjoy a good pasty and this place is the only place in Sydney I have found that does them and does them well. They have so many combinations and they are really yummy.

Cousin Jacks Pasty Co at Oxford St Mall, Bondi Junction is one small little shop that packs a punch. It has a black colour ambiance infused with bright yellow as its colour branding, making it stand out from the rest of the shops on the mall.

Although the place is small it feels very inviting. The rows of pasties laid behind the glass display invites people to take a look further and interact with the staff that are friendly, just as the locals like it.

The range of pasties available on offer are just amazing: the usual classics, vegetarian, international flavours (including chicken tikka masala and spicy mexican), and of course sweet pasties. To top it off, there are sides like wedges, beans, coleslaw, and salad and some drinks, both hot beverages and cold drinks.

As the pasties are freshly baked daily, they were delicious and the flavour tastes very lively. They also sell uncooked pasties that you can buy and cook at home with cooking instructions included!
