I took my Mercedes to this garage sometime ago and spoke to the owner regarding an engine problem with the dpf filter. I believe He was very helpful by providing a loan car as seeing the car on the same day I called. Later in the day the garage called to advise the car needed a new dpf sensor and some other parts costing over a $1000. I was suspicious as the car was only 4 years old. I advised that I didn't want the work completed as I preferred a second opinion. After taking the car to a Mercedes dealer they managed to resolve the problem by forcing a dpf clean which was completed free of charge. No new parts were required. I called cox autos and advised my experience with Mercedes and that new parts were required. Cox autos insisted the error codes came up to replace the parts. Thay had my car for 2 weeks, managed drive it over 300 KM and use almost a full tank of fuel. It was not the same car that I gave them as it had scratches and stone chips on almost every panel. When I showed them the damage they just denied any wrongdoing but did admit to travelling 300 KM.
I have had to make an insurance claim to have the car resprayed as well as take the car to Mercedes Benz for a full diagnostic report to see how much damage one visit has done.
They are real bad with your car
I don't normally waste my time with these review sites, but when you get better than you expect from a product or service you just have to give them their kudos.
I drive a Holden Calais with a high performance engine, and I've always had it serviced in holder dealerships with genuine parts, paid a fortune but never felt that the vehicle was running at its best. Finally I cracked it with Holden, vowing never to return. As I work nearby I took a stab in the dark and tried Cox. The car is now running better than I can remember for far less money than I have been paying. What is not to like. Thanks Guys.
