Dr Cox had me come in 6-10 times over the last couple of months with numerous scans on my jaw including his fees each visit plus xray fees only to eventually tell me he couldnt provide the necessary operation/procedure to fix the problem and reffered me to another oral surgeon of the same qualifications in sydney that could. He has not forwarded scans on nor the referral nor even let them know about my case. I will now need to go through the same process for the next couple of months with the new oral surgeon. All in the meantime my jaw continues grinding bones and dislocating. Waste of my time and money.
Having wisdom teeth out is usually quite distracting to say the least, having had one taken out under local anesthetic (coming from someone who loves the dentist and has absolutely no apprehension about them), it was horrible and the recovery was terrible. I didn't receive prescription antibiotics or pain killers, didn't even receive a cold compress to aid the unavoidable swelling.
Dr. Cox on the other hand was brilliant, it was my first time under G.A and also my first surgery. I had no noticeable swelling (for three teeth), and had no need to take the prescription pain medication. On top of all that, the nurses at Berkely Vale Private Hospital were an absolute treat to meet.
A+ experience, would do it again any day.
