A Birthday Breakfast-do was organized by my workmates to be here at Crack Kitchen one morning before work as they knew this was one of my favorite breakfast/brunch places! Only two of us had been here before but the rest hadn’t and were quite impressed! Good comments all around for their menu and meals. I ordered a corned beef dish for something different and it was super delish! I really like their menu items, I do want to come back again and try their ‘Peach and Saffron Pannacotta’ – doesn’t that sound devishly tempting for a breakfast desert dish!
What a funny name for an eatery - I say. But it is one to stick! I heard of this place through friends on social media and seeing post of their breakfast options - when I found out it was near my work, I decided to take a walk and check it out to grab a coffee and look at the menu. The coffee was made well and the menu has me organizing a breakfast date before work amongst my coworkers already. Cannot wait to try the food!
Really enjoyed my first Crack experience and will definitely be returning...and soon. The mushrooms on toast had a great variety of mushrooms and a generous amount - and not just a heap of button mushrooms with a few other thrown in to justify a "mixed mushroom" description. My zucchini baked eggs were also good. It was more like a zucchini frittata with chorizo and tomatoes on top but still hit the spot, particularly with the 2 slices of good toast with excellent butter on the side. Coffee met expectations. Lovely décor and friendly staff.
