Cream Cafe And Bar

It has been a long time since we visited Cream for breakfast, however my wife and I decided to try them again. Some things haven't changed - it is still open and airy, with lots of light, with upbeat (but not overpowering) music; a bit on the sterile side but that may just be us.

I had dinner at this relaxed eatery tonight. First, a great Bloody Mary cocktail - nicely made, spicy and good, although I had to ask for a long straw to drink it from the tall glass, not really a problem though. Then dinner was Roast Vegetable Salad with Haloumi, and some Steamed Greens. Both were very nice. The salad was generously served with Haloumi and the balance of flavours was lovely. Steamed Greens were asparagus, broccolini and green beans with slithered almonds and currants - very nice. The service was friendly and overall it was a delightful meal. Thank you.

All round a good caf and atmosphere. One of my favourite in the city.

This is a great caf for breakfast and early morning business meetings. Located at the edge of the Canberra Centre, it's easy to find both on foot and by car. The service is good and coffee excellent. One of my colleagues had their Fruit Loaf, which looks totally divine - generously served with butter and jam - delicious. I wanted some for myself! I'll be back here, thank you.

Love the coffee...and meals are great too..
