Let me share my knowledge & passion for writing with you.Creative writing classes for adults, secondary & primary students conducted by Leeanne Vernon author of the Netball Dreamz series.
Have you ever wanted to write but don't know where to start? Perhaps your child struggles at school, or maybe, they/you LOVE writing stories. I offer a creative writing class, where all you have to do is arrive with an open mind and I provide the inspiration for your writing adventure.
Its fun. Its nurturing. It builds confidence.
Our weekly format:
First I introduce our topic for the week, followed by a round table discussion during which time a story emerges. Writing time consists of 15-30 mins, depending of the age. Finally, everyone shares their story and I offer enthusiastic, constructive feedback!
Classes are aimed at unleashing your creative side, having fun with words, building confidence and learning new skills.
Primary students: Wednesday 4.15 - 5.15 Thursday 4.15 til 5.15
$20 per class
Secondary students: Wednesday 5.30-6.45 $22
Thursday 5.30-6.45 $22
Adults: Thursday 7.30 til 9p.m. $25

I love going to Leeanne's creative writing class. She has a wonderful skill for drawing out our ideas, so that we have plenty of inspiration to write our stories. Leeanne is an excellent teacher. She creates a safe and encouraging environment, gives helpful feedback and makes each session fun. I always leave feeling uplifted.
Sensational brilliantly stimulating way to spend a Thursday night unlocking all those long lost creative passions stored up in the old grey matter. Leanne certainly has a way with eliciting inspirational responses with her method of discussion followed by delving deep into our inner psyche and letting the innovative juices flow. Just bring paper, pen and an open mind!
