Crest Conveyancing

Having used Crest on two previous property purchases of my own (albeit last one was 9 years ago, although it wasnt Goodman Group back then as far as I recall), I used them again when assisting my brother with the purchase of his land. It was a mistake. Worst service from what should be a professional company. Having to chase them constantly... Asking them to email multiple people in order to stay on top of things, to which they refused... Only receiving cheque directions at 11am the DAY of settlement which took place at 2.30pm (and they directions were incorrect and changed by our finance broker)... And they charged $1295, which is at the high end of this service. I WOULD NOT recommend them.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. No transparency. No service. No return calls. No advice.



My impression of conveyances were academics, smart, helpful, none of these attributes sit with all Crest staff. Please be warned.

I purchased a property in Jan 2013, and I got recommended by the agent to go with Crest. So I gave them a call to give me quote and the staff on the phone quoted me around $560-$600 basic fees (In the past, I have been quote higher), so I thought this was quite cheap and I agreed to go with it. During the time till my settlement, I have had bad bad bad service from them. The solicitor that we have been dealing with, can never get hold off them and never replied our emails phone calls. I even complaint to their management but their management could;t do anything about it! What kind of company is this??? We received a document in the mail and we called them up the next day (Obviously it took a while to get to them), all they said were "sign it and send it back to us". They didn't even bother explain what it is. I strongly recommend you keep looking for a new conveyancer and don't use Crest Conveyancing. I have had nothing but trouble with them. From not sending documents, forgetting to do things and giving incorrect information, selling my house has been a lot harder than it had to be. Today, 8 days from settlement they still have not released the deposit due to mistakes and not doing things when they said they would. I will never use this company again.
