CSS has developed, through its telephone counselling services and research, a unique perspective and expertise in the areas of suicide prevention, mental illness, family and relationships, men's wellbeing and family violence. It also works, in partnership with the business and corporate community, to help people to build awareness and resilience through a range of specialised workplace training programs.

Everyone has heard of Beyond Blue which was highlighted by having Jeff "Jetson" Kennett as its patron for some time, but there are also other crisis lines that one would like to know about - these crisis lines include "Lifeline" and "Bush Crisis Line which is for farmers and rural people who are feeling low, dpepressed or suicidal, maybe as a result of drought, or financial difficulties related to the drought.Just enquire at your local community health centre, or with your GP for information on Crisis Lines in your area, or go on line and check with the yellow pages or enter "Crisis Lines Australia" in the Google search engine.
