Crisp CBD

Had I not been introduced to Crisp by a colleague, I would not have known it even existed. The subterranean food court burger and salad joint is located between Pitt and George Street, along with a few other takeaway shops. They do a great job - tasty food, fast friendly service, and great value for money. It couldn't have been more than a five minute wait for my Aloha burger and fries. Served on a rye bun, it was a hearty and satisfying meal.

THE MENU IS LIKE CHOICES OVERLOAD! So I really appreciated that they had several specialty burgers to choose from AND a selection of salads. BIG TICK for being versatile to be there when I need comfort food and again for a guilt free healthy choice! I honestly don't know how Crisp seasons their burgers or how they make their aioli, but however they do it and whatever they put in it, it's incredible. I talked to the lovely owner, Mel about everything except that because I need the recipe! Make your order and step to the side because there are hungry people behind you. But dont worry this team of cooks know exactly what they are doing because the wait for me was less than 7 minutes in a line of about 6 people.So i was a bit peckish because I missed breakfast. Still boasts a great quality salad and has a great offering of ingredients if you wish to make a salad for yourself. As it is made usually fresh, there can be a waiting time especially during peak hours but theres a line for a reason.

Great burgers here, similar style to grill'd burgers but cheaper. The chips are not great but the burgers make up for it!

It might be a little out of the box move to see a modern contemporary burger shop opening a store at an old school style food court just like Crisp CBD did, but it is certainly a good refresh to the otherwise a place saturated with typical takeaway foods.

Although it is only in a form of a takeaway shop, Crisp CBD sells high quality burgers by sourcing Sonoma bread and fresh, premium ingredients. As this was my first visit, I ordered their original burger. I picked rye buns and it was beautifully crispy. The burger was quite large, of good taste, and most of all, reasonably priced (at around $9 to $10 during my visit).

Apart from burgers, they also sell sandwiches and salads, as well as some breakfast items. The staffs were friendly and service was very quick. It did not take long for them to make my order of two burgers.
