This is one of those cool basement bars that I really like. Okay, like most pubs in Brisbane it isn't open really late, but it was open late enough for me to be able to stop by for a drink. It is basically a standard pub with the bistro, sports bar, pokies, and beer garden (though there is no designated smoking area). It was also fairly quiet, at least at the time when I paid the pub a visit (which was around 9:00 pm). They also have a pool table in one corner, which is another thing that I like, especially since a spot of pool is always a good thing. Unfortunately I didn't get to check out the menu, due to the time of night I was there (especially since the kitchen was closed) so I won't hazard to guess what their prices are like. It is a shame that I only ever came here once, despite it being quite close to my hotel, but it probably had something to do with it being closed at all the other times I walked past.
