Crocodile Farm Hotel
‘The croc’ has a new skin. A four-year redevelopment, completed in 2008, has transformed this popular Ashfield watering hole into a sleek architectural marvel. There are 10 beers on tap, an impressive wine list and a big range of bottled beers, plus an excellent bistro. But while it may look different, one well-loved customer is still there: a 12ft crocodile, originally from the set of Crocodile Dundee, is safely entombed under the dance floor. We hear he’s friendly.

Visited here again last night and once again impressed with the quality and price of their food - especially their $10 rump steak (always that price!). It was trivia night and that added a lot of fun, even walked away with a prize for our rather meager efforts. I'll be back again for sure.
Not much better in this area than sitting up on their 1st floor, kicking back at the end of a day or a luncthime, nibbling away at any of their menu choices - fantastic prices and a really good tasty selection (including some healthy & some downright unhealthy). Decor is nice, and plenty of room for a larger group or for just a couple/family (it's separate from the pokies/other gambling which is downstairs). Shame they can't build a carpark so you can actually get there easily without worrying about timed parks or walking from 10 minutes away - but I've definitely found a favourite eating place now, I'll be back.
