Not at all happy with the service at Crosby Tiles this weekend. We found the service in October 2015 at the Myaree store wonderful, but we needed to check and review Essastone selection due to a overhaul of their range.
On arrival assistants hung around the desk and stared, only when we actually made eye contact (a few times) were we asked if we needed any help.
On our request the woman led us to the Essastone pallet and told us 'Don't over analyse anything, just choose [this] and [this] as it's the closest match'. I appreciate her 'expertise' but I still want to have a look. She was frankly annoyed when asked if she'd be able to retrieve our tile selections so we could compare and look again (what if we had changed our mind?). Very very very upset with the service I received at Crosby Tiles I was served by a staff. I found the staff's manner very abrupt. Staff was very rude, was pulling faces at all my ideas and disregarding them. I am very angry at the way I was treated by the staff and I wont be returning to your company. I don't believe you should laugh at a customers idea and show them to the most expensive tiles which I clearly stated were out of my price range more than once, staff then took me to the ones they liked which I hated but I couldn't get a word in edge ways!!!
We are very disappointed to read about your experience, and it is very out of character for one of our consultants to be abrupt or unhelpful.
We pride ourselves on our great customer service and regularly receive compliments from our customers.

Although I was told no appointment was necessary expect to wait a while before being acknowledged. I didn't get any help with how the selection process worked beyond some criticism of my choices so felt a bit lost and intimidated. Sales rep was rude, impatient, critical and uncaring so choices were rushed and I didn't feel I could ask all the questions I'd wanted to. Range was very limited. Very nearly walked out on them altogether. Very unpleasant experience with what should have been an exciting stage of the building process.
Very disappointing to read your review as we are known for our top quality service, as well as our staff's friendliness and helpfulness.
Over 90% of our business is from repeat customers and referrals and our staff regularly receive compliments from our customers.
We are also the largest supplier to new home builders clients as our range is the best on offer.
I would like to take the opportunity to speak to you personally to better understand your experience with us as we pride ourselves on what we do and how we do it, and if we have disappointed you we would like to try and rectify that if we can.
